About Department 

The Department of Chemical Engineering started in the year 2013 with an intake capacity of sixty students. With an array of faculty members richly endowed with Doctorate and Post graduate degrees, the Department has actively indulged in and supported research activities. It has won recognitions from various National and State Bodies like Institution of Engineers, Gujarat Cleaner Production Centre, GUJCOST in the form of grants and awards bestowed to the students as well as the faculty members. The Department has fully equipped laboratories including sophisticated analytical instruments and high end equipment. The faculty members of the Department have also filed patents for 4 different projects in the current term. The Department assigns Industrial Defined Problem (IDP) to its final year Students in industries like GNFC, MFL, GSPC LNG, GSPC, TR Associates and other such prominent organizations.
